Aroha’s background is in Education. She graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Te Reo Māori and Professional Education. Aroha has been a secondary school teacher in Masterton for the last ten years and is currently the new Assistant Principal at Wairarapa College. Aroha believes that educating our tamariki is key to continuing to change the shape of Aotearoa and improve outcomes for our people.
